In order to have a revolution, you need independent thinkers. Only creative people can start a revolution – people who don’t think for themselves are never going to revolt. If you have mental homogeneity imposed by the power structure, then you have an absence of imagination and creativity, an absence of independent thought, a society without real art.

People have been disarmed mentally. This isn’t just a crisis of injustice; it’s a crisis of culture. We’ve been broken mentally and rewired to become numb and reliant on the stuff they’re feeding us – movies, music… The rich decide what’s good music and art, and an algorithm decides what’s good in our society. Our creativity has shrunk so much that an AI can do it better.
